Welp, here it is guys! The last part to the HILARIOUS Circuit Bent LeapPad series is finally here, now making this series a true trilogy. This idea of mine was in the archives for quite some time now, and now it's a reality! :) Unlike the last two videos in my series, this is the LONGEST part. Clocking in at 17 minutes! And also, unlike the last two videos in my series, I filmed this one at my new house (which I hate). On Monday, I started filming the video in my Mom's closet, then went out to my room due to cramp issues. If you are claustrophobic, please don't watch this video because more than half of it takes place in the closet! I also don't talk in this Circuit Bent LeapPad video compared to the last 2 cause I felt like it, but still made noises such as laughing and breathing heavily. And lastly, instead of just circuit bending the LeapPad without the book, as well as touching pictures in the demo book, I went even further by circuit bending the LeapPad GAMES! That's right. Any of you guys notice that the LeapPad has games on almost every page? Well, I have decided to act dumb by getting the answers wrong on almost every game ON PURPOSE, and then shutting up the narrator (it's mostly LeapPad creator Jim Marggraff; unknown narrator for the Disney story) by force with a paper clip (but this one is kind of bent compared to the last 2). Also, I got to quiet down Rabbit (the worst character in Disney's Winnie the Pooh in my opinion) twice. 2 episodes of the year 2000 direct to video Discover Spot also make appearances, keeping in with both the Disney theme and the nostalgia from 2000s. First appearance of DS, Spot the Dog watches me dump some of the soundfont out of my LeapPad, along with TV static playing, in his toy box, amazed at what I just did (Spot Plays Hide and Seek). Second appearance, Spot breaks the 4th wall by asking me if I still want to play on my LeapPad. I look at my second book Rainy Day Play, which I have made a video on back in 2020. The second time he asks me the same question, I get mad at him and throw Rainy Day Play (2002), What Will You Be? (2003) and The Amazing Big Top Letter Circus (also 2003) on the floor, after the demo book was thrown on the floor upon completion (Spot's Grandpa). Description of the LeapPad: The LeapPad Learning System is an educational children's toy made by LeapFrog Enterprises, originally released in 1999. It was updated in 2001. Other versions of the toy include LeapPad Plus Writing, LeapPad Plus Microphone, and the My First LeapPad. It looks like a tablet or lap desk, holding only 1 book at a time. The on/off button is located to the side of the unit. It can close and open by the user using a snap clip. The LeapPad's signature element is of course the pen, which brings a book to life by having the user touching on things everywhere. The green go circle is something that needs to be touched on a new page, and it makes one of the most nostalgic sounds ever. The stop sign is normally used to stop narration. The original book is called Leap Into Learning (or the demo book). It features the following stories. Lil's Loose Tooth (LeapFrog), Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever (by author Richard Scarry), A Sweet Good Morning (Disney), Our Town Band (LeapFrog), The United States of America (LeapFrog; geography), The Human Skeleton (LeapFrog; science), Things We Do at Home (LeapFrog; languages) and The Paper Piano (LeapFrog; music). Over the years, many more books have been released, and feature cartridges that are inserted into the side of the unit. You also have the option to clip on a reading light at the top of the toy for use in the dark, but I don't have it. When the wrong cartridge is inserted, Jim says this. "Whoops! That's not a LeapPad cartridge." And when the batteries run low, Jim says this. (seal horn sound) "Time to change your batteries! You'll need 4 new AA batteries." It's actually hard to open the battery compartment of the original 1999 LeapPad, but I successfully did this task by opening it up with a sharp kitchen knife at a corner. And when changing the batteries, be sure that they are completely in. They tend to pop out of the unit! :/ Sadly, the toy was discontinued in 2007 to be replaced by the Leapster, I think. But its legacy will most certainly never be forgotten about, especially to those who grew up with this toy back in the early 2000s when it was both new AND popular. Multiple users such as me (TechMasterJason), The Childhood Show, Devan Wolf and even the retired TSA Master have made LeapPad videos for YouTube. I highly recommend this toy for today's kids. It will actually help them learn things, instead of Wolfoo or something. Credit to SpongePlushies for the video Spongebob the Babysitter!, used at the end. In this video, it shows Spongebob and Patrick's reaction to me throwing all 4 of my LeapPad books on the floor violently. Which is screaming! Enjoy the show, and let's hope this video blows up just like the last 2! :)
