Description

What? You were expecting maybe a wrinkly old timer in a flowing blue robe? Sorry, folks. No one here but us felines!

Okay, so the halls of Writer Heart Cat's famous Kingdom of Caring library isn't exactly enchanted, complete with talking books that sound just like Whoopi Goldberg, but it DOES have a rather enchanted feel to it.

Besides, it just might have one or two enchanted old spellbooks lying around in there somewhere!

-Tenderheart Bear: "Uhm, excuse me, but did you just say 'Spellbook'?"

-Brave Heart: "Yeah, I think we've all had our fill of those. Thanks but no thanks!"

Writer Heart Cat was adopted at kittenhood and raised by a kindly librarian woman with a great fondness for cats. She already owned five other pets (all of them feline, of course!) besides Writer from previous adoptions. All of them strays from the city streets which she cared for and loved immensely.

And the feeling was quite mutual! As a matter of fact, all of her cats were so well behaved, the owner of the big old fasioned 18th century library, and old childhood friend to the librarian, saw no trouble at all in allowing the animals to run about freely inside the roomy building. As a matter of fact, he actually persuaded her to let them all live in the library that way she wouldn't need to round them all up at the end of every day.

(So Writer Heart was raised in a library, eh? That explains a lot of things! *snicker*)

They were made quite comfortable and at home. And the readers certainly seemed to enjoy their company! :D

It was during one of his playful romps through the library that Writer Heart, still a normal kitten like any other at the time, had wandered far apart from his feline fellows, as well as indeed his owner and the readers too. Come to think of it, it was awefully hushed and dreadfully silent all of a sudden. Unbeknownst to the tiny kitten, he had actually wandered deep into the oldest part of the library, where many dusty old books, some of them writen in old, long forgotton languages sat quietly.

And, you guessed it! This is right about the same instant he transformed in the middle of an enourmous room with a high, dome shaped ceiling decorated by a large, expertly done painting depicting dragons, unicorns, wizards and several other fanciful figures of mythology (bet'cha can't guess which animated classic I'm ripping THIS description from! xD). It served as a sort of nexus point in that it spread out into many different halls of the library, like some great fearsome kraken from the ocean depths equipped with long, sprawling tentacles.

And so it's no surprise that to this very day, Writer Heart Cat's strongest passion is for the adventure, the horror, and the whimsical fairytale land that is books. And indeed, it's no surprise that his earliest memory is one of being surrounded by thousands upon thousands of books!

This sort of upbringing has made Writer Heart quite an intellect. He's very cultured, and very wise as well. Why, I heard a rumor once that even True Heart and Noble Heart themselves visit Writer Heart at his home (which doubles as his library ;)) when they're seeking advice!

Writer Heart Cat is quite possibly the only member of the Care Bears Family, aside from Gentle Heart Lamb, who places a great deal of trust (or any trust, for that matter) into Bright Heart's seemingly pointless and usually explosive inventions.

And, on a side note, he appears to have one piercing blue eye on a certain teal fured bear in the Family...

This looks more like a Carea Bears character.
