Y'know, seeing as how Kimba the White Lion had it's hay day so close to the "Space Age", I'm really surprised at how much restraint the storyboard writers must've exercised against making a space launch oriented episode.

Oh, don't give me that look! You guys know exactly what I mean; one little slip of the tongue from good ole Roger Ranger about those moon missions, and our over imaginative jungle prince here would have stars in his eyes for days!

Until of course, on a night just like this one, whilst gazing up at the endless sea of worlds that is the vastness of space, he finally hits upon a brilliant idea;

"I know! I'll ask all the animals to pitch in and help build a space ship. Why, if the humans can do it, then by golly so can we!"

Several cutesy 1960's Kimba animation animal work scenes later, we now have a crudely constructed wood/bamboo/stone/ rocket which, running on coconut milk somehow manages by some divine act of god to leave the Earth's atmosphere.

Sadly we all know how this was destined to turn out, folks...

*Tractor beam*

-Kimba: "Oh shi---!!!"

*Several hours later*

-Bucky Drone: "I am six of ten, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero-One-Five..uhhhm...Oh, right! Zero-One-Five...gosh, I'm sorry fellas, I've just never been real good at numbers!"

-Borg Queen *Facepalm*
