Sparkly Clouds

It's been a long while since we last saw Benefor and Kohl (my SpyroXEmber fanspawn), perhaps a little too long; looks like they've done some growing up and are off on some adventure or other, just like their old man!

You know, I'm almost afraid to have Kohl go on an adventure. I've seen so many comics about Spyro's purple/almost-purple-but-not-quite-but-still-super-special son or daughter on some quest of enormous importance, usually having to fight a corrupt-Cynder clone and chock full of unnecessary romance between two adolescent dragons too immature to know how real relationships work. The whole idea's a little stale. I was imagining ways one could keep the story fresh. Avalar's a big place, there's more to it than just a swamp, a temple, and Warfang. And that's not even mentioning the realms! There are countless worlds just waiting to be-- wait, has anyone ever made a Spyro comic involving the realms? You know, the portals to other worlds every Spyro up to A Hero's Tail utilized?

... Did we seriously just forget the realms? All this time the fandom could've been sending dragons to go fight, I don't know, Victorian steampunk cyborg-birds in the starry skies over London-esque streets or have their fanspawn explore the sprawling multicolored reefs of an underwater world, and fandom's been too busy rehashing the same stories over and over because we all forgot about the realms?
